Title: New Concept Operations Lead

Reports to: Operations Special Project Manager

 

About the Role

 

As New Concept Business Manager you will be accountable for ensuring the operational, commercial and community success of the portfolio of new concept Roll’d Restaurants.  As a key strategic pillar for the business, this is a high profile role that would suit a self starter keen to make a huge difference and build a model with strong commercial fundamentals.

 

Working with the franchisee, management team and cross functional Roll’d Head Office team you will build out the business case and success criteria for the future of new concept restaurants as a part of Roll’d strategy - providing recommendations and advice to Roll’d Executive team and contributing to Roll’d strategy in a meaningful way.


With full responsibility for operational execution, customer experience and commercial excellence across the portfolio, you will clearly devise and implement action plans with individual restaurants to define and improve key KPI’s for the business type - ensuring that the entire portfolio is at the peak of execution and ensuring the success of the concept. 

 

Title: New Concept Business Manager

Reports to: Operations Special Project Manager

Experience: Minimum 3+ Years in Restaurant Management experience.

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for success of new concept restaurants commercially, operationally and within the community. 
  • Action planning with individual franchisee’s and restaurant leadership to improve revenue and profitability within the concept stores.
  • Build strategic model and success criteria KPI’d for new concept to be delivered to Roll’d Exec team and form a key component of Roll’d strategy.
  • Work with marketing team to develop and execute core local marketing, sponsorship and community opportunities to improve revenue.
  • Significant time in the field, working on the floor providing feedback, building franchisee & restaurant teams know how and understanding what makes the individual restaurants tick.

 

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience leading large teams to deliver revenue and profitability improvement within the QSR industry - multi site experience will be highly regarded. 
  • An entrepreneurial thinker passionate about growing sales and willing to get be creative about identifying and capitalising on opportunities for growth.
  • Exceptional analysis skills with ability to bread down fundamental commercials and create clear action plans to deliver a high level of profitability.
  • A great people leader able to build relationships quickly and provide clear direction and feedback with follow up to ensure continued success.
  • A “can-do” attitude and a self-starter.
  • Willingness to travel – potential for both domestic and international. 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas simply and to all levels and audiences within the organisation.
  • High attention to detail with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and a commitment to deliver high quality outcomes.
